Description
The Supervisor, UM Administration contributes to administration of utilization management. The Supervisor, UM Administration works within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures; uses commuinication skills, independent critical thinking/judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems; collaborates with management and top professionals/specialists in selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach.
Responsibilities
The Supervisor, UM Administration provides non-clinical support for the policies and procedures ensuring best care and/or services for members. Decisions are typically related to schedule, plans and daily operations. Performs escalated or more complex work of a similar nature, and supervises a group of typically support and technical associates; coordinates and provides day-to-day oversight to associates. Effectively manages inventory and coordinates with business partners to ensure compliance needs are met. Ensures consistency in execution across team. Holds team members accountable for following established policies.
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree
Ability to work independently under general instructions and with a team
1 - 3 years minimum experience in a team leadership or supervisory position
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Able to give direction and make sound independent business decisions
Ability to exercise sound judgement and engage in ethical behavior
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience in an operational setting
Prior Medicaid/Medicare Commercial experience
General understanding of economic, financial and operational concepts
Previous supervisory experience in a call center setting

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. Interview Process
